As many as 15 schools in district scored 100 percent pass in the high schools certificate (HSC) examination this year felicitated at the Missan Shakti conference hall here on Thursday.
While inaugurating the renovated of missan Shakti hall, and the felicitation ceremony of the teachers chief guest local MP, Mr.Pradeep Majhi, vociferous in their appreciation of the school teachers stating that the success was possible, as teachers went out of their way to teach these children and students reciprocated with their effort to achieve the success. There several problems in the high schools of the district we should make a special attention of their basic needs so the results will be better he added. Mr. Majhi, further said that large vacancies in the high schools should be taken to the notice which is one the main reason behind the poor performance of results, urged to enable ad-hoc appointments in schools, until such vacancies are filled.
District collector Mr.Sibabrata Dash, presided over the meeting expressed his happiness about the commitment of the teachers in the 15 schools who made it possible recorded cent percent results in the HSC exams, Mr.Dash said that the credit for the best results goes to all the teachers of the schools, and this felicitation will be inspirational and motivational for the other teachers of the schools, he urged other schools to emulate its pedagogical methods including holding special classes to achieve good result in the coming years.
Motiram Nayak, President Zilla Parisad, who was also a teacher assumed that in this district most of the students had no facility to study at home as they come from very poor economic background besides that We achieved this success of cent percent results in 15 schools. We owe the success to the efficient and persevering staff who are the pillar of strength. Mr. Nayak, also suggested students would be given guidance and if they were weak they would be given extra coaching which will help the schools for cent percent results.
Local MLA, Pointing out the success of the schools and said that it is a wrong notion about private and government schools which are labeled poor quality of education. He also pointed out that the RCD high school which is one of the oldest school remaining the deteriorated infrastructure everyone should think about past splendor school and it is high time that district administration should provide school building and renovation of school.
Schools that scored 100 percent results include Banadurge high school, Deobandha Phatiki, Govt. high school, Raighar, Govt. High School, Timanpur, Ghodamari High school, Biriguda, Govt.U.G High school, Kuhudi, Govt.U.G.High school, Mentry, Govt.U.G.High School, Bijraguda, Govt.U.G.High school, Palasapada, Integral education centre, Khatiguda, Janamanikeshwari high school, B M semela, Sangrami Rabising High school, Silati Benora, Saraswati sishu mandir, Paraja Barangpadar, S.L.N.High School, Udaypur, Pendrani high school, Ankabedha, teachers were felicitated during the function. Among others Municipal Chairman, Prahalad Tripathy, PDDRDA, James Eaka, PA ITDA, Paul Eaka, Sub-collector, Suman Behera,BDO, Nabarangpur, Anil Kumar Sethi, DWO, Mukund Nial, DIPRO, Bhujang Bhusan Rao, present at the meeting.
