District level vigilance Monitoring Committee meets at Nabarangpur.


The meeting of Vigilance & Monitoring Committee was held  at Ashok Meheta Conference hall here on Tuesday under the Chairmanship of Pradeep Majhi, MP (Lok Sabha) to review the progress of various schemes under National Rural Health Mission.

Members ZP president Motiram Nayak, Pramod Padhy, nominated member of Minister Ramesh Majhi, (MLA Jharigam)  MLA Nabarangpur, Monahar Randhari, MLA Umerkote, Subash Gond, and MLA Dabugam Bhujabal Majhi, Collector and DM, Sibabrata Dash, all 10 blocks chairpersons besides the CDMO, Dr.R.N.Dash  and officers of various departments present at the meeting.

DPM, NRHM S.K.Satpathy, gave a detailed account of allocation and achievements of the schemes. The Members disgruntled over the poor performance in Rastrya Swasthya Bima Yojana (RSBY),Janani Shisu Surakshya Karyakram (JSSK), Janani Surakshya Yojana and the village swastya melas. Due to the lack of awareness the poor people unable to avail the benefits of schemes the members assumed.

MP, Mr.Majhi directed the CDMO to bring detail expenditures of CHCs in the next VLVMC, also held to run generators in all the CHCs and PHCs.

Nabarangpur MLA, Manohar Randhari alleged that during the payment of cheques under the Mamta schemes the officials demanding gratuitous from the patients. Even the vehicles engaged under the schemes has no purpose for the remote poor’s he alleged.

Dabugam MLA, Bhujabala Majhi, demanded the committee visit to the peripheral health facilities and assesses their performance including drug availability, as the health officials querying the patents to purchase medicines from outside which is available at the health centers.
