Nabarangpur Municipality By-election.

For the word-6 of Municipality by-poll two candidates filled their nomination here on Monday on the last date of the filing of nomination. Though the bandh called by the congress, candidate Ajaya Sagar, of BJD along with local MLA, Manohar Randhari, Municipal Chairman, Prahalad Tripathy, along with supporters filled his nomination while D.Srinavas Rao, of Congress party with DCC president, Narayan Patro, Loksabha Constituency Youth President, Bhima Harijan, PCC VP, Sadan Nayak, Secretary Muna Tripathy, along with supporters filled nomination at the Sub-collector office here on Monday.  After the death of Jalandhar Harijan, councilor of word 6, the  post was lying vacant since from last eight month. The election will be held on 28^th and the counting on 29^th of sept.
