Urban education programme ANWESHA for tribal kids of the district was inaugurated at the conference hall of Zilla Parisad, Nabarangpur. Collector Ms.Rasmita Panda, who was the chief guest launched the programme and distributed schoolbags to the students.

Under the
programme the Govt would bear all expenses for education of the students under
Anwesha. The expenses for fees, uniform, books, hostel accommodation as well
transportation will be sponsored by the Govt. at-present 137 students enrolled
in Nabarangpur and Umerkote English schools said Pabitra Pradhan, DWO of
Nabarangpur. Among others PAITDA Narayan Murmu, Principals and staffs of
various English schools were present.
